The Goal of Restoration House at Counseling Solutions Intense Outpatient Programs is for those suffering from addiction. Our programs are specifically targeted at adults 18 and older who are experiencing substance abuse problems. Our integrative care team will provide a warm embrace and a safe place for recovery to happen. At Restoration House at Counseling Solutions, we do not believe in a one size fits all program. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best care possible and a chance at living a positive, productive life free of drug addiction, alcoholism, and other substance abuse issues.

When a program is CARF-accredited, it means the organization has passed an in-depth review and meets rigorous CARF guidelines for service and quality—a qualified endorsement that the organization conforms to internationally-recognized service standards for excellence in customer service and results.
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) provides clients with new skills to manage painful emotions and decrease conflicts. DBT specifically focuses on providing therapeutic skills in four key areas. First, mindfulness focuses on improving an individual's ability to accept and be present in the current moment. Second, distress tolerance is geared toward increasing a person’s tolerance of negative emotion, rather than trying to escape from it. Third, emotion regulation covers strategies to manage and change intense emotions that are causing problems in a person’s life. Fourth, interpersonal effectiveness consists of techniques that allow a person to communicate with others in a way that is assertive, maintains self-respect, and strengthens relationships.
Motivational interviewing is a counseling method that helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior. SUDs IOP Staff is trained to recognize the existence of possible cooccurring disorders that must be treated along with one’s recovery from the primary diagnosis of substance abuse/addiction. Patients who may be suffering from such co-existing psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders or bipolar disorder, will be expected to accept recommendations to be evaluated for appropriate medication. An untreated psychiatric disorder is one of the most frequent factors leading to relapse and must be treated concurrently with all other treatment modalities to maximize the opportunity to experience a successful recovery..
Relapse prevention education prepares you to live a happy life in recovery. Common relapse triggers include boredom, anger, stress, relationship and financial problems. By addressing these concerns during your treatment, you will be able to successfully navigate early recovery. Skills such as self-care, mindfulness meditation and seeking support are integral to success.
